- Description
A relaxed Wednesday evening at Wild Trumpets dedicated to one of the oldest exercises in art and one of the most quietly rewarding: looking carefully at objects and making something in response.
We'll set up a still life in the gallery and work across a range of materials: pencil, pastel, and acrylic; moving between them through the evening. The aim is the looser, more interesting territory of how a thing feels rather than how it looks: the weight of a jug, the warmth of a piece of fruit, the way light falls across a folded cloth. Vibrant, expressive and experimental.
Suitable for complete beginners and for anyone who hasn't picked up a brush in years and would like to. Equally suitable for people who draw regularly and want to try working across materials in a single session.
